Information We Collect

Location Data
The Application collects your device's approximate or precise location solely to calculate accurate prayer times and Qibla direction for your city. Location data is processed on-device and is not transmitted to our servers or shared with third parties beyond what is necessary to fetch prayer times from the AlAdhan API (api.aladhan.com). You may also enter your city manually without granting location permission.

Advertising ID (GAID)
The Application may collect the device's Advertising ID (Google Advertising ID – GAID) for analytics, advertising, and performance measurement purposes through Google AdMob. This identifier is not linked to personally identifiable information. Users can reset or limit the use of their Advertising ID through their device settings.

Purchase Information
If you subscribe to Salah Premium, purchase transactions are processed through Google Play and managed by RevenueCat. We do not store or have direct access to your payment information. RevenueCat may collect anonymized subscription status and purchase history to manage your entitlements.

Usage Analytics (Mixpanel)
The Application uses Mixpanel to collect anonymized usage analytics such as feature interactions, screen views, and session data. This data helps us understand how users engage with the app and improve the experience. No personally identifiable information is linked to these analytics events.

Data Storage
Prayer times are cached locally on your device using a local database. No personal data is stored on our servers. All user preferences (calculation method, language, notification settings, missed prayer counts) are stored locally on your device only.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect collected information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no digital system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Children's Privacy
Salah · Prayer Times & Qibla is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe that such data has been collected, please contact us so it can be removed promptly.
